I am Halfway There

Hello fellow Nursing Student's, Pre-Nursing student's, thinking about nursing school student's,

How are you all?

I know it has been a very long time since I have written anything, but I hope you all understand. I have been quite busy. I am in my 3rd quarter of Nursing school which means that I am halfway done with Nursing school. Yay! But, I am so incredibly tired. This 3rd quarter is really diving me and my classmates into more of an actual workload of a nurse by giving us a little more independence with administering medications, we have two patients to care for now and we need to do more critical thinking. At this point, we need to be more familiar with medications, the body system and how one abnormality can affect another part of the body.

It's incredible to see more and more of all the things we are learning in the classroom in the hospital setting.I am going to cut this short and give a tip that my teacher this quarter gave me and my classmates, "follow your gut". Listen to your inner voice during clinical, while taking a test, and just in your everyday life. Sometimes, it's the initial, first reaction that is most correct.

Well, it's late and I have a test to study for.

Goodnight and see you all at the finish line!
